Stress. In small doses, it can help you perform under pressure, sharpen your concentration and motivate you to do your best. But beyond a certain point, stress stops being helpful and starts causing major damage to your health, mood, productivity, relationships, and quality of life.

When stress starts to become hard to control or overwhelming, you can experience compassion fatigue and burnout, and as an employment consultant, there are so many parts of your role that can lead to increased stress. Working with disengaged clients, managing high caseloads and juggling all those competing priorities from your employer can weigh heavily on you.
